New Jersey Citizens Defense League

A big thanks to everyone who attended the meeting in Hackensack last night. I saw a lot of energy and heard a lot of interesting questions. The meeting confirmed what I had suspected: New Jersey gun owners have the motivation to change the way New Jersey politicians treat gun owners. We just don't yet have the political experience to get inside the minds of the politicians and figure out how they tick.

The path to a better New Jersey will be a hard one, and the more gun owners we have with us, the easier it will be. All NJCDL members are encouraged to spread the word that gun owners are going to stand up for their rights. Get to know the gun owners in your area. Talk to your shooting buddies, your fellow gun club members, other visitors to your local range or gun shop. Collect the names and contact information of the people you know. Your local groups of personal contacts form the nucleus of the NJCDL effort.
